Prepaid Flight Lessons & Self-Hire Hours
Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 11th February 2026

1. Nature of Prepayment

Prepaid credit constitutes advance payment for future flight training or aircraft self-hire services with Tatenhill Aviation Ltd (“TAL”). Credit is not a deposit for a specific date, aircraft, instructor, or course.

2. Validity Period

All prepaid credit is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Any unused credit will expire at the end of this period unless TAL agrees in writing to extend the validity. Extensions are granted solely at TAL’s discretion.

3. Use of Credit

Credit will be applied to the customer’s FlightLogger account and deducted on a lesson-by-lesson or hourly basis. Credit can only be used against lessons and self-hire bookings.

Credit may be used on different aircraft types. Where the aircraft hourly rate differs, the applicable rate at the time of booking will apply and the credit balance will be adjusted accordingly.

4. Pricing

Prepaid credit secures the published hourly rates in force at the time of purchase for the validity period stated above. On the 1st March, additional credit will be added to your account to account for the price increase based on how many hours remaining you have left.

5. Refunds and Transferability

Prepaid credit is non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by law.

6. Financial Risk

Prepaid credit is an unsecured advance payment. Funds are not held in a segregated client account. Only purchase what you realistically expect to use within a year.

7. Booking and Operational Conditions

All flights remain subject to:

  • Aircraft availability

  • Instructor availability (for lessons)

  • Pilot licence, currency and checkout requirements (for self-hire)

  • Weather conditions

  • Regulatory and safety requirements

  • TAL’s standard operating procedures

TAL reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where operational, safety, or regulatory requirements are not met.

8. Acceptance

By purchasing prepaid credit, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions. These Terms form a binding agreement between the customer and Tatenhill Aviation Ltd.
