MEMBERS’ CLUB COMMITTEE
Shaping the culture, community and overall experience of the airfield
CHAIRMAN

MARTIN JONES
I’ve been flying since 1986 and I now instruct at the airfield with both Aerobility and Tatenhill Aviation. I also co-own an SR20 based at Tatenhill and volunteer in the tower at weekends.
I’ve always felt Tatenhill has huge potential and I hope to bring my enthusiasm and breadth of aviation experiences to make Tatenhill a safe, efficient and vibrant place to fly.
VICE-CHAIR

DEAN HUMPHREYS
As a recently qualified PPL at the beginning of my journey towards my FI rating, and having completed all of my training through Tatenhill, I hope to be the voice of the student and renter community within the committee.
With my background in aviation, engineering, and leadership, I aim to bring a pragmatic, collaborative, ‘get stuff done’ approach to the team, ensuring our members feel fully represented.
You’ll usually find me around the airfield most weekends—and if I’m not in the air, I’m usually stuffing my face with a baked potato in the airfield café.
Feel free to come and chat to me anytime.
SECRETARY

VIKKI REYNOLDS
I’m Vikki Reynolds, 45 and from Stoke on Trent.

ANTHONY CUNDALL
I started flying in 1999 and gained my license in 2000 at Sandtoft Airfield.
Since then I have flown nearly 2000 hours on fixed wing and rotary and owned a mixture of classic warbirds to ex RAF military jets and helicopters. I gained my display authorisation on the Jet Provost, Harvard and Chipmunk in 2009 and routinely flew displays and formation at many of the RAF shows and graduation ceremonies.
I recent years I competed the UK and FAA Instrument Rating and in 2025 I completed the Class Rating Instructors Rating and now enjoy instructing for Tatenhill and Merlin Flying Schools.
I’m passionate about general aviation and have supported the airfield over the last 10 years with anything from commercial aspects, grass mowing to instructing. We have a strong, thriving aviation community at Tatenhill and it’s in all our interests to see it successfully grow.

MARK HUMPHRIES
Having started my GA journey at Tatenhill and now being a co-owner of a 1977 Cessna 150 based at Tatenhill, I am very keen to see the airfield thrive, and see bringing the flying community at Tatenhill together a great goal.

PRIMOZ VRACKO
I’m a technology architect based in Swadlincote, working as a Lead IT Architect in the retail sector, where I focus on large-scale systems and digital transformation.
Alongside my career in technology, I’m an active member of the general aviation community at Tatenhill Aviation. I hold a Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL) and am part of a Cessna 172 syndicate, flying regularly from the airfield. I’m also involved in Air-Ground Radio operations. I have a particular interest in the use of technology to support safer and more efficient aviation.
Originally from Slovenia, I’ve built my life and career in the UK. I enjoy being part of the airfield community and getting involved where I can.
As a member of the Tatenhill Aviation Members Committee, I’m keen to represent the interests of fellow members and contribute to the continued development of the airfield and its community.

PAUL CHEETHAM
Paul Cheetham, retired designer engineer. I have been interested in aviation since an early age, becoming an air cadet and completing a gliding course. I have been at Tatenhill for more than twenty years and recently revalidated my PPL. I would like to help create a thriving flying community at Tatenhill.

CALLUM WHITFIELD
I’m Callum Whitfield 32, I started aviating in November 2021 during the joys of covid time. There was a few delays with the aforementioned and the prob 30’s becoming more or less definitely going to happen I gained my PPL in Dec 2023.
Since then I have self hired from Tatenhill and completed the Night Rating and IMC Course. I am hoping to help PPL students and new PPL’s to take the next step leaving the comfort of the instructor and becoming a confident and safe pilot.

COLIN ROGERS
Hi all, I’ve have been a member of Tatenhill since 1997 and recently retired as a consultant surgeon so keen to use my available time helping out.
I am a keen safety advocate and use this extensively in surgery (having borrowed heavily from the safety culture in aviation). I love flying, travelling to new places and photography but I’m absolute useless at that . But hey – can always learn something new. Looking forward to meeting all

SANDIE READER
I’ve flown a microlight at Tatenhill for 11 years and have previously worked as a flexwing instructor at several local airfields. I’d like to help build a strong airfield community in which different aircraft types are welcome and ‘bigger’ and ‘faster’ are not automatically seen as ‘better’!
WHAT IS THE COMMITTEE?
The committee is intended to be a driving force behind the development of the Tatenhill community, helping to bring people together, support initiatives, and contribute to the future of the airfield in a meaningful and constructive way. It’s designed to be an active and engaged part of Tatenhill — helping to shape not just how the airfield operates, but what it feels like to be part of it.
It will bring together members who want to contribute beyond their own flying, working collaboratively to support initiatives, strengthen the community, and help create a more connected and enjoyable environment for everyone.
HOW DO I GET IN TOUCH?
The Committee welcomes any feedback and comments.
Simply email the committee at [email protected].
